Since 2015, Blue Forge Films has hosted film festivals for both emerging and established filmmakers. Discover a current festival or scroll down to explore past winners.

Current Film Festivals

Perspective Film Festival

Submissions welcome until 9am Pacific Time on December 20, 2020.

Finalists will be announced December 23, 2020, by 9pm Pacific Time.

Festival will be available to watch free online throughout January 2021.

Awards will be announced on January 30, 2021.

Films must be two to fifteen minutes in length, rated below NC17, and showcase a unique perspective physically, emotionally or spiritually. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the festival. Our panel of industry judges will select the finalists to be included and contact them within 72 hours of submission. Judges are different for each festival.

Awards:

Best Film: $100 cash prize, trophy, and laurel certificate.

Audience Favorite: Laurel certificate.

Best Actress: Laurel certificate.

Best Actor: Laurel certificate.

Best Original Score: Laurel certificate.

The submission fee is $15. After payment, you'll be redirected to a form to send us a link to your film. All finalists will be required to send us a MOV or MP4 of their film. Submit your film.

Leap Film Festival

Submissions welcome until 9am Pacific Time on January 20, 2021.

Finalists will be announced January 25, 2021, by 9pm Pacific Time.

Festival will be available to watch free online throughout February 2021.

Awards will be announced on February 28, 2021.

Films must be two to fifteen minutes in length, rated below NC17, and feature a nonlinear timeline and/or a leap in time essential to the plot of the film. Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the festival. Our panel of industry judges will select the finalists to be included and contact them within 72 hours of submission. Judges are different for each festival.

Awards:

Best Film: $100 cash prize, trophy, and laurel certificate.

Audience Favorite: Laurel certificate.

Best Actress: Laurel certificate.

Best Actor: Laurel certificate.

Best Original Score: Laurel certificate.
